Medicine Heart

I like to dj for dance spaces where people are invited to move however they want to, free to play, free to dive in deep,
free to inhabit their bodies and hearts, free from concern about how they might look on the outside, free to be fully themselves.

I weave specific intentions and themes into my sets, and create waves of music that journey through a range of musical genres,
including world, funk, gypsy, dub, breakbeat, house, glitch, bass, broken beat, downtempo and leftfield.

For the last 9 1/2 years I've been djing once a month at Soul Shake Ecstatic Dance in Chico, CA, on sunday mornings from 10am to noon at the Dorothy Johnson Center, 775 E 16th st.  I also dj at west coast events and festivals, which over the past decade has included Worldfest in Grass Valley, Freedom Dance, Mystic Garden, and Wild Mountain Faire.  If you'd like to see where/when I'm djing next, you can see updates on the medicine heart facebook page here
